Fr. Mitch Doyen is pastor of St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Parish in North City St. Louis. He lives at Most Holy Trinity Church in the Hyde Park Neighborhood. St. Josephine Bakhita Parish is comprised of three churches, Most holy Trinity, St. Nicholas, and Sts. Theresa and Bridget. The new parish was formed in August of 2024 with Fr. Mitch as pastor.
Fr. Mitch has been a priest in the Archdiocese of St. Louis for 33 years. During that time, he has served in a variety of pastoral and educational settings. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Systematic Theology from Kenrick Seminary in 1991. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Catholic Secondary School Administration from Boston college in 1997.
Fr. Mitch has a twin brother, Mike, a sister, Patty, and six nephews and nieces. He remains close to his parents, John and Ona, who live nearby in Laclede Groves.
