The Hyde Park Neighborhood Association of North St. Louis (HPNA) was formed in 2017 and incorporated as not-for-profit in 2019. The Association was formed to improve the quality of life of those living, working, or attending institutions within Hyde Park. The residents here have a special focus – to preserve the historical residential character of Hyde Park.

To connect neighbors, promote activities and foster civic involvement.
Hyde Park general boundaries are defined as Ferry St. to the North, southward to Interstate Highway 70 (I-70) to the East, westward to Palm St. on the South, northward to Glasgow Ave. to N. Florissant Ave. on the West to Ferry St.
Jacoby Aaron Combs was born and raised in St. Louis and is the youngest of 3 children. He graduated in the Class of 2020 of St. Mary’s High School and currently attends St. Louis University working towards his major in Political Science which will set him on course to pursue his dream of being in future government. Jacoby has completed two summer internships at The St. Louis City Treasurer Office.
His volunteer list consisting of joining the advisory board of the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association, participating in Block Unit #713 Neighborhood Clean-ups, working with Candidate for St. Louis City Mayor Tishaura Jones, mentoring with State Rep. Kimberly Ann Collins, SLACO Emerging Leaders past President, and so much more. Jacoby aspires to bring youth representation to our local government. The very essence of Jacoby Aaron Combs is a man of charisma and who strives to make God all in all.
Fr. Mitch Doyen is pastor of St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Parish in North City St. Louis. He lives at Most Holy Trinity Church in the Hyde Park Neighborhood. St. Josephine Bakhita Parish is comprised of three churches, Most holy Trinity, St. Nicholas, and Sts. Theresa and Bridget. The new parish was formed in August of 2024 with Fr. Mitch as pastor.
Fr. Mitch has been a priest in the Archdiocese of St. Louis for 33 years. During that time, he has served in a variety of pastoral and educational settings. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Systematic Theology from Kenrick Seminary in 1991. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Catholic Secondary School Administration from Boston college in 1997.
Fr. Mitch has a twin brother, Mike, a sister, Patty, and six nephews and nieces. He remains close to his parents, John and Ona, who live nearby in Laclede Groves.

I am currently working part time at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church as the Mission Advancement Coordinator.
I enjoy doing community outreach and fundraising. I am looking forward to being an active participant of the organization.
Donna Lindsey is a life long resident and homeowner in Hyde Park. She is in Food Service at LaSalle Middle School on Jefferson Avenue.
She is involved in various programs and events at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She is Chair of the Mission Advancement Team and a member of Grand Endeavor. Her commitment to the neighborhood and the HPNA is to help make a difference in the community.
Education and communication are two things that will take us far.
Fatimah Muhammad and husband chose Hyde Park and a beautiful historic row house as their retirement home and have been proud residents here for 25 years.
Fatimah is a serial, social entrepreneur whose life journey over the last five decades has spanned over several different occupations, businesses and subcultures. Her focus is on civic engagement, community building and improving, and removing social and economic injustices.
Her mission is to continue to work towards building a social-ecological system that speaks to all.
